Abstract

In this chapter, researchers interested in conducting imaging-based anatomical studies are briefed about the past and present roles of imaging modalities in advancing our anatomical knowledge and practices. After reviewing the main aspects and uses of the currently available imaging modalities, a quick guide to conduct imaging-based anatomical research is provided.
