Abstract

This review article offers an in-depth look of the cutting-edge uses of nanotechnology in glioblastoma therapy, with a particular emphasis on diagnostic approaches and drug delivery systems. This article's comprehensive examination of the interaction between nanotechnology and a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as immunotherapy, gene therapy, and chemotherapy delivery systems, is a distinctive feature. In contrast to traditional reviews, this manuscript incorporates advanced diagnostic techniques, such as MRI, PET, and nanotechnology-based imaging agents, to demonstrate their potential to enhance therapeutic efficacy and diagnostic accuracy. The article also distinctively emphasizes the obstacles presented by the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and tumor microenvironment in the treatment of glioblastoma, offering comprehensive insights into how nanotechnology can surmount these obstacles to enhance drug delivery and minimize systemic adverse effects. This review distinguishes itself by providing a comprehensive and innovative viewpoint on the management of glioblastoma, which is derived from a synthesis of both diagnostics and therapeutic advancements, as well as a forward-thinking discussion of nanotechnology's potential to address current limitations.
