Abstract
Patients with large abdominal wall defects resulting in a significant loss of domain and severe soft tissue deficiency often require flap reconstruction of the abdominal wall. This chapter reviews the anatomy, design, and surgical technique of the most common locoregional and microsurgical flaps used for abdominal wall reconstruction.
