Abstract

Nanotechnology is a key route to antiviral drugs, vaccines, and drugs study that prevent viral reproduction to be delivered via nanotechnology. Nanotechnology may offer useful suggestions for use in the battle against viral infection at different stages of viral infection. More specifically in vaccine production, the abundance of distinctive nanoparticles (NPs)-based platforms specifically AuNPs that can successfully generate immune responses, leading to interesting and creative solutions, may help overcome some of the barriers to vaccine development. This book chapter’s main goal is to elucidate the function of AuNPs in the formation of nanovaccines for COVID-19. Although the applications of AuNPs have drawbacks and a low but measurable amount of toxicity, their advantages justify devoting more time and thought to the establishment of innovative vaccination tactics.
