Erratum: Molecular detection of multidrug-resistant pathogenic E. coli isolated from house fly in various environmental settings (Future Microbiology (2019) 14:10 (847-858) DOI: 10.2217/fmb-2019-0053)

The Research Article by Prof. Mohamed El Zowalaty, 'Molecular detection of multidrug-resistant pathogenic E. coli isolated from house fly in various environmental settings', which appeared in the July 2019 issue of Future Microbiology 14(10), 847-858 (2019), was published with a comma instead of a minus in the formula to determine sample size on page 2. The correct sentence should read 'n = Z2pq/d2, where, n = desired sample size, Z = the standard normal deviation, usually set at 1.96 at 5% level, which corresponds to 95% confidence level, p = prevalence (4.44% or 0.044), q = 1-p = (1-0.044) = 0.956, d = precision (5% so d = 0.05)'.
