Abstract

Examination of the eye is an essential part of general workup for any patient, since there are many systemic diseases that manifest in the eye before involving other organs. In neurology, ophthalmic examination is very vital as many neurological conditions can present with ophthalmic symptoms. Sudden onset of ocular deviation with double vision in a child can be due to sixth nerve palsy resulting from high intracranial pressure.
