Dr. Sukumar Shanmugam, currently working as assistant professor of neuroscience physiotherapy in College of Health Sciences since September 2019. He has more than 20 years of academic and clinical experience in the field of Physiotherapy, specialised in neurological and psychosomatic disorders. He has published 18 research articles in the indexed journals, completed two funded research projects and guiding research projects of postgraduate and undergraduate students.  Dr. Sukumar is a certified dry needling instructor from Dry Needling Institute of South Africa and has trained nearly 200 health professionals from various parts of the world.
