Dr. Jovita D’souza is a Lecturer in Periodontics at the College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University, Ajman. She graduated in 2006 from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and received her Master’s degree in the Speciality of Periodontics in 2012 with honors from the same university. She holds a Diploma in Lasers, from the Society of Oral Laser Applications in Vienna and is a Fellow of the ICOI.

Previously she has worked as a clinical instructor at the College of Dentistry, Ajman University and University of Sharjah. She has also worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the College of Dentistry, Ras Al Khaimah.

Dr. Jovita has several publications to her credit and has actively contributed by presenting papers at various conferences and delivering guest lectures at CDE programs. Her research interests include periodontal regeneration, Lasers in periodontics, implantology and precision dentistry.
