Dr. Halima Alnaqbi is an Emirati scientist in biomedical research and biotechnology. She serves as an Assistant Professor in the Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology department at Khalifa University, where she leads efforts in genomics, digital health, integrative multi-omics research, and precision oncology. Driven by a deep commitment to scientific excellence and national progress, Dr. Alnaqbi has played a key role in shaping genomic research in the UAE by addressing the critical gap in Arab representation in global genome data and laying the foundation for a robust framework in organ and bone marrow transplantation in the UAE. She also leads efforts to collaborate with local clinical stakeholders and international institutes to advance precision oncology in the UAE.
