Dr. Asmaa Uthman is a Lecturer and Specialist in Oral Radiology. She received her bachelors degree in 1992 and masters degree in 1996 from University of Baghdad, Iraq.
Dr. Asmaa Uthman has more than 24 years of teaching experience in the field of Oral Radiology in six different universities in different countries including Iraq, Yemen as well as UAE for 3 programs BDS, Internship, and post graduate studies. During these years her work focused on image quality control, radiological interpretation, and radiological reporting of Digital Extra-Oral Panoramic, Maxillofacial CT and CBCT.
As a researcher, Dr. Asmaa has 24 publications to her credit in both national and international high impact factor indexed journals, 3 published articles in relation to the COVID 19 infection. She has extensively participated as a speaker and presenter in various conferences and workshops. Her research interest is in Cone Beam Computed Tomography being a cardinal imaging modality for diagnosis, treatment plan strategy and forensic identification.
