Abderrahim Benlahcene is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology, Ajman University. He attained his PhD’s degree in educational psychology from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). His study focused on investigating the impact of motivation on students’ personal goals and engagement in higher education. He is an enthusiastic and adaptive person with a broad and acute interest in the study of students’ goals development for motivation, learning and engagement. He is also proficient in the various quantitative analysis approaches and has solid knowledge in exploring and scrutinizing teaching and learning issues. Member of many academic committees in the department and college, and has a number of research in the field of educational psychology.
